There is one thing I don't get about diminutive folks insistence on being called 'little people.' To me that seems much more demeaning than the 'M' word.
It's like: "Oh look, it's a LITTLE person. The are so little! Look how little they are compared to us. It's like we are big people and they are little people."
uggh.
I wish that they had a name that was better suited for them, I really do.
(Not to undo everything I just said, but you have to admit that the photograph I have included is of probably the cutest major in history, Mayor Mite, aged 22.
